Heritage because:
The Apprezzato, Sonoro, Distintivo and Prestigioso instruments - and Alunno and Avanzato celli - are individually and expertly hand crafted by specialist violin, viola, cello, and double bass makers in a small family workshop outside Beijing.
Craft because:
The instruments are created with attention to detail from their highest grade spruce, maple and ebony to give the best possible appearance, feel and sound to the instruments.
The violins, violas, celli and double bass are all hand varnished with an oil or spirit based varnish to give the instrument an antique finish that really complements the woods to great effect.
Quality because:
When the instruments arrive in my workshop, they each receive a professional set-up in-house.
They all benefit from a full set-up adjustment comprised of re-planing, flattening and polishing of the fingerboard; adjustment of top nut; adjustment and lubrication of pegs and peg holes; adjustment of sound post fit and position; NEW Despiau Superieur Luthier fitted and trimmed bridge; adjustment of tailpiece, adjustment of endpin, adjustment of saddle.

This set-up adjustment process ensures that you receive an optimally created instrument which instils a confidence, a comfort and a trust in yourself when you play them!
